Running, writing, and photographing in the mountains have taken me to Nepal, India, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, and all over the Alps. Originally from Chicago, I've followed an unlikely path to end up in the mountains. I have a little grey cat, Pinot, who's traveled with me from France to Italy, Germany to Switzerland, to California, and to wherever the trails lead next.
