Trail Running Chamonix Mont Blanc, 2019
2019 marked a major turning point in our lives. With everything going well since Kim joined the team in 2016, it all went suddenly sideways when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her life was upended, and she decided to move back to the US for treatment. As her departure date grew closer, we spent all our time running our favorite trails, hanging on to what we love to do, and trying to continue working.
Just before flying to California, we spent a few days in Chamonix at the peak of the fall colors. A few final days before the golds would fade.
